Sepsis - It's About T.I.M.E.

What is Sepsis?

Sepsis is the body's response to an infection. It is a life-threatening health emergency. Sepsis happens when an infection you have makes a chain reaction throughout your body. Without quick care, sepsis can quickly lead to tissue damage, organ failure, amputations, and death. Anyone can get sepsis. If you think you may have sepsis, see a doctor, call 911, or go to the hospital right away. Say to your doctor "I am worried that I may have sepsis."
