To put on pants/undergarments:

Sit on the edge of a bed or a chair.

Use the reacher to grasp the waistband of your clothing

Lower your clothing to the floor

Place your weaker leg into the leg hole first, then your stronger leg.

Using the reacher, pull your clothing up over your knees
-
Release the reacher from your clothing and grab onto the waistband with your hands
-
Stand using a walker for support, if necessary, and pull your clothes over your hips
To take off socks:

Using the reacher, grab onto the top of your sock and pull the sock off over your heel.
